This Privacy Policy describes how Janko Tech Ventures LLC, operating under the brand Tap Party ("we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Tap Party mobile application (the "App") and our website at tap-party.com (the "Site"), collectively the "Services."
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Player names: When you start a game, you may enter player names. These names exist only in your device's memory for the duration of the session and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. They are cleared when the app is closed or the session ends.
Support requests: If you contact us for help, you may provide your name, email address, and a description of your issue. We use this only to respond to your request.

If you make a purchase (Premium subscription, Lifetime, or Party Pack), the transaction is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details. RevenueCat, our in-app purchase platform, receives purchase receipts and device identifiers to verify and manage your entitlements.

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs and services. Each operates under its own privacy policy; we encourage you to review them.
Purpose: In-app purchase management and subscription entitlements.
Data collected: Purchase receipts, device identifiers, app version, and platform.

Purpose: Serving advertisements to free-tier users.
Data collected: Advertising ID (IDFA / GAID), device information, IP address, general location, and ad interaction data. AdMob may use this data to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
Opt-out: You can limit ad tracking in your device settings: iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

Apple App Store and Google Play also collect data about your device and transactions in accordance with their own privacy policies when you download or purchase through those platforms.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances:
Free-tier users see advertisements served by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising identifier and general interests. Premium users (any paid plan) do not see ads.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14+): On iOS, we request permission before accessing your IDFA for personalized advertising. If you decline, you may still see ads but they will not be personalized.
Google's ad personalization: You can review and adjust Google's ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.
Player names: Not retained. Cleared from memory at session end.
Purchase records: RevenueCat retains purchase history as long as your account is active or as required to resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.
Analytics data: Firebase retains event data for up to 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted or anonymized.
Support correspondence: Retained for up to 2 years after your last contact, then deleted.
Because Tap Party does not maintain user accounts or store personal data directly, most data cannot be individually deleted. However, you may contact us at support@tap-party.com with any privacy-related requests, and we will assist where possible.
Tap Party is an adult drinking game intended exclusively for users who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21+ in the United States; 18+ in most other countries). The App displays an age gate at launch requiring confirmation of legal drinking age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a person under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has used the App, please contact us at support@tap-party.com.
This App is not directed at children and is not designed to appeal to children. It is not compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) or similar children's privacy frameworks, and its use by minors is strictly prohibited.

Categories of personal information collected in the past 12 months: Identifiers (device IDs, IP address); Commercial information (purchase records); Internet/network activity (app usage, crash data). We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA.
Tap Party is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

By using the Services from outside the US, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data protection rules than your country.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include using reputable third-party platforms (RevenueCat, Firebase, Google) that maintain their own security certifications.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use the latest version of the App and your device's operating system.
All data transmitted between your device and third-party services is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.
